At impact which arm would be more pointed at the ball and would you call it the plane arm?
This is so money, I assume this ties into the facial lines? You guys ever come to Northern CA?
@@jimper15 we may someday! We’ll be sure to let you know!! And YES! Absolutely ties into all the cool tissue stuff 🌀🌀
@@elitegolfschools Awesome, I was lucky enough to spend some time with Kelvin Miyahira and you are in his lineage.
@@jimper15 pelvis is an absolute beast. Love his view of the game and swing
Great stuff, as always! This move should be called: AMG fan boys beware
That looks soo butter
@@sypen1 thanks so much!!!!!
Soooo good 👍
Is this possible for a left eye - cross hand dominant golfer? Or better to leave the head a bit on the through swing so that the left eye can stay on the ball a bit?
@@methroostersinc.1082 not essential either way. Dependent upon movement of ribs and pelvis and spine
From this angle it looks like the face is slightly open on the downswing and you are working the heel down the swing arc and squaring it w/ rotation. is that accurate?
I noticed your gaze precedes your rotation which I find very helpful to help promote full turn for my swing. Beauty of a swing.
@@VoodooZ got to see where I’m hittin’ it! lol 😂
Well done, two types of grips and stroke patterns- how often are we mixing and matching different styles and getting frustrated with results or conflicting feels…Hope there is more on other patterns like the Nicklaus approach..
Good move there! I’d guess a pretty good player.
For me the secret is that drop+ribsway=hip opener which enables rotation. Thanks for the video.
Super random request but any content you guys have regarding creating proper width/radius for players that "lag" driver too much? I know much of the content is centered around movement patterns and being dynamic but I'm curious if there was anything that could assist with that specific of an issue.
@@iiZAPPx for sure! Check out our longer release video on our channel. Should answer some of those questions!
@@elitegolfschools is there a specific title for that one?
That swing looks effortless but i still cant do that😭

@@ronaldjones7092 during a certain LONG period, unequivocally yes.
I got a few videos of DJ in that angle and it really helped to confirm certain movements..
@@VoodooZ right?! One of our favorite movers for sure!!
THANKS!! This is great. That's one of the angles we usually see ourselves when we practice (with mirror). Please show more from this view (with a normal slow motion though, especially on the release). Thanks again
@@TK-np7jc right on! Super fun angle for sure!
I understand there is a conscious pull with the left arm to balance the push release with the right arm to achieve harmony. Saw this in another elite instagram. Will you have another video on the role of the lead arm. in the meantime , can you share some insight on this action. Always appreciated!
@@user-gh6uj3vb1t we can definitely share more on this topic! At the end of the day the lead arm will abduct, and externally rotate while lowering. It’s simply the thresholds of each movement that each player needs to diagnose properly for their system ❤️🙏 hopefully that makes sense
@@elitegolfschools Starting to grasp the concept. Looking forward to more!! Thanks and grateful.
@@user-gh6uj3vb1t fantastic!! Keep on diming!
That’s best way to describe that move. Thats a must try when I go back to the range.

A nice thorough explanation. It makes the got swing more understandable.

How much is to much to regards to shallowing
@@titanfx9156 has to do more with the handle. Deepening the handle will get a player stuck.
How do you work on that?
@@ST-xg3gy pelvis, spine, ribs, scaps, humerus… all one move 🧬
Right shoulder drop with the new swing.
When replanting into the lead side with the pelvis drop and rib sway, where is the majority of the weight on the lead foot? I find my weight on the ball of my lead foot when moving into the lead side, and then moving to the heal through impact and finish. Not sure if this is correct. Thanks a million for all of the great information! I feel like I'm stealing something here ... Just found the answer in this video if anyone else has the same question ruclips.net/video/LbQWUXq_vGc/видео.html
Whats kinda cool is your rib sway works around the wheel. So, if you were a kid on a go cart and you wanted to drift, what would you do? Throw the Mass!

Amazing golf mind, I've caught a bunch of videos from your channel and am very impressed by the way you teach. on piont with your analogy. Oh, I always forget to say ty for getting rid of that name the downswing. lol, it makes zero sense.
ah...but the rotational swing is sooo hard on the body. So many elite players getting injured with this. As a senior, I would end up with too many injuries. I'll take the arm swing anyday.
@@dogloverjb6873 ahhh but you be wrong 😉
After a year, I'm finally getting the hang of the Driver swing... Now feeling the need to start flighting my wedge better I came back to this video and It's even better now than it was a year ago!
@@VoodooZ let’s gooooo! So exciting!
The pool noodle is there the make sure you shallow the club at the beginning of the down swing.

@@s3gts big time!
Hey Riley/Teej…what are you’re thoughts on internal rotation of the lead arm and its relation to shallowing? In the Arm Action video, Riley references this as an active action in p4-p5. I recently started working on this move, hit the range and video taped myself - it’s the shallowest I’ve ever gotten the club, and my release is the lowest and ‘leftist’ I’ve had. But a bit of a gap between arm and chest, and I hit quite a few more shanks if I improperly timed it. Thanks again
@@tjcurran6041 absolutely happens! And everyone is a bit different here. For each player they must recognize what act balances their body and club out. However, the movement that we prefer in the spiral fascia is what can inevitably produce the desired result out of the arm line leading to internal rotation of the lead humerus in transition 🙏
@@elitegolfschools understood thank you EGS
@@tjcurran6041 yeah man! Keep us posted!
Loving your knowledge, I completely understand it all, I need to really focus on breaking some very bad habits and swing thoughts, but when you stated on your misses and then I can diagnose the fix, that's very cool, thanks guys. to me, we get to a point with fairway finders, and then it's time to start moving the ball in different shapes, the game gets interesting to another level.
@@Murf1802 yes! And at the end of the day what players need is movement and a swing that commands the ball. Exciting to work on!
I might have missed this but what’s the weight distribution in the feet at impact supposed to be in this setup?
@@michaelgullion5032 totally depends on the club and the pressure readings in the feet will be dictated based on total energy in the movement. It will be more biased towards lead foot pressure with wedges and irons than it will with driver for most
Getting swing coaching. Otherwise it would have been 30+. 😂
@@v205 potentially! Potentially not 😉
Weight lifting bulking up , and changing swing killed him
Would love some more WEDGE content!!!
@@iiZAPPx game on!
This video explains the movement of the body during the downswing better than any other ideo that I have seen.❤
@@pragshah1818 you’re the best! Thank you so much!
Currently dealing with alot of lower back pain in my right side and my match up is more an unstable release so I am going to try more of a stable release and see how I get on. I never understood the right forearm supination to get to the ball, I would just right side bend thinking this is how I get there so appreciate the explanation gents 🏌️
Hitting chunks.
Go get them glasses checked hombre 🤓
The word you’re looking for is flush or flushers.
@@TheWedgeWizard hahahaha yessuh!
Meanwhile, I just watched your “Never Slice Your Driver Again” video which states the exact opposite: “Actively shallow the shaft during transition.” So confusing. It would help a great deal if you clarified between the two motions.
@@gnikrehposolihp main item in organizing the club is the structure of the arms. In this particular video you’ll hear us talk about how and why the COM of the club should fall back on the plane but the handle should not drastically fall under the plane due to improper arm movement. The two videos come from the same space, just two different ways to get there ❤️❤️

Tiger hitting a golf ball 🤔 😮
Mmmmmmm
Love these “implementing the system” type videos guys. I’ve been trying to work this into my range sessions but really struggle beyond phase 1 mentioned here (when I introduce any speed it falls apart). Should I just stick with phase 1 until it’s ingrained? Chronic early extender and trying to reverse pulling from the top and tipping over/steepening the shaft in the downswing.
@@OWDrummer1 people are either boulders or play-dough… sounds like you fall into the boulder category in which you need more enhanced (exaggerated) movement/principles to truly fall into the system. Another way to look at it is to put as much energy into the system while staying within the confines of the system. Not just, hit it hard now 👍
@@elitegolfschools makes perfect sense thanks!
